Don’t overdo it. Don’t be like a cheesy salesman pushing your book/s at people all the time. Instead of focusing on ways to get people to buy your book, which is a short-term goal, think of social media as a long-term investment in your career. Yes, book sales are important, however, you need to think about the big picture of what’s sustainable. If you’re doing an activity online that drains you or it has started to feel like a drag, it’s most likely time to refocus and reassess. Don’t become discouraged if it takes a while to understand or become comfortable with social media marketing. It takes patience and perseverance.
